Dear Parents, Students, and Guardians,

It is with a sense of excitement that I join the Dr. Gilbert L. Porter (GLP) Elementary School family.  The 2023-2024 academic school year promises to be filled with golden opportunities as we embrace new ways to be innovative and aim higher than before.  We embark on this journey by continuing to build upon and refine our school’s foundation of quality work, honored traditions, and excellence in education.

Collectively, we will focus on helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.  We will support a holistic approach to educating our students by highlighting creativity through art and music, as well as and promoting an active lifestyle through physical wellness.  Our dedication to supporting high-quality education for all students will be a priority at GLP.
